MilRenter.com is a veteran-owned housing marketplace built for the military community. Service members, veterans, and their families use it to rent, buy, and sell homes near military bases, especially when PCS orders drop. Your first listing is free.
Who can use MilRenter.com?
Anyone in the military community can list or search: active duty, National Guard and Reserve, veterans and retirees, and their eligible family members. You can list a home you own or are authorized to rent or sell, and you can browse homes near any base free of charge.
How do I create an account?
To create an account, click on the "Sign Up" button on the homepage, fill out the registration form with your details, and follow the instructions to verify your email address.
I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
Click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page, enter your registered email address, and follow the instructions sent to your email to reset your password.
How can I update my account information?
Log in to your account, go to the "My Account" section, and update your personal information as needed.
How do I post a listing?
Log in, click "Post a Listing," and enter the details of the home you are renting or selling: address, price, bedrooms and baths, availability date, and the nearest installation. Add clear photos and submit. Listings are reviewed before they go live, and your first listing is free.
How much does it cost to list, and how does MilRenter help with a PCS?
Your first listing is free, and browsing is always free. When you get orders, post your current home so the next military family can find it, and search the area you are heading to so you can line up off-base housing before you arrive. Messages go directly between you and the other party, with no agent in the middle.
